I've been writing practically my entire life. I was blessed with the gift of storytelling. Penning books, stories and films about sex, violence, and other unscrupulous behavior, all from a misguided perspective, thinking that my gift was mine to use any way I saw fit. Thankfully, divine intervention has brought me to a place of correction! Now, fully understanding the power that lay within each key stroke, each page, each line of dialogue, I feel the pressure of accountability weighing on my soul. For that reason, you can be assured that anything coming from the mind of damon darrell will be for the edification and uplifting of you, the audience, and more importantly, the glorification of our Creator.
I couldn't keep writing the same thing and still be right with God.

"May I Help You?" is the first official title release under the Two Trees Publishing Group umbrella. This book exists because I had grown weary of the call to action to support black owned businesses, then in the very next breath hear the solemn utterance of that dreaded phrase..."that’s why I don’t like supporting black-owned businesses!" I figured it was time to help change that narrative.

Synopsis:
“And that’s why I don’t like supporting black-owned businesses!” Whether you heard those words and passionately nodded in agreement, cringed, or simply dropped your head with a shrug, we all have an idea of what may have possibly provoked that statement. The Achilles’ heel of many black-owned businesses is poor customer service.
May I Help You? is a book designed to encourage black-owned business owners to take an introspective look into the cultural ideology behind customer service, but more importantly how to navigate beyond those external and internal challenges and focus on building—or perhaps rebuilding—solid customer service protocols that will help garner a consistently positive experience for patrons. Cancel culture has crippled many black-owned businesses that often find themselves in the crosshairs of aggrieved patrons for the slightest infraction.
May I Help You? seeks to empower business owners with the necessary knowledge and tools that will ultimately enable them to uncover and dismantle the true obstacles that have been the true culprits responsible for hindering their success. If you have ever heard, said, or thought, “And that’s why I don’t like supporting black-owned businesses,” this book is for you.
Business owners, may this guide help you along your journey to providing a winning experience for your customers, which also means more money and a better business presence for you!
